About Us

Jones Elementary, a k-6 modified traditional school, offers a rich academic program in a nurturing and orderly learning environment. We emphasize standards-based language arts and math programs. We offer differentiated instruction for students who need additional support as well as those who need to be challenged. Jones received a District Gold School of Achievement Award during the 2009-2010 school year for meeting state and federal testing targets. We also offer CAPS (Creative Before- and Afterschool Programs for Success), an after-school enrichment program.
